*Please note that some of the roles at Ragtag require for you to have a DBS, which Ragtag can do for you.
Be the welcoming face of Ragtag at Elephant Yard, helping create a friendly and positive experience for all visitors.
When?
Tuesday: 10am–1pm or 1pm–4pm
Thursday: 10am–1pm, 1pm–4pm or 4pm–6pm
Friday: 10am–1pm or 1pm–4pm
Saturday: 10am–1pm or 1pm–4pm
Tasks Include:
Support our café team by keeping the space clean, tidy and welcoming.
When?
Saturday: 10am–1pm or 1pm–4pm, and school holidays
Tasks Include:
Help sort donated items for sale and ensure the shop floor remains organised.
When?
Tuesday: 10am–1pm or 1pm–4pm
Thursdays: 10am–1pm or 1pm–4pm
Tasks Include:
Assist in preparing craft kits which are sold in our shop.

Tuesday: 1:30pm–3:30pm
Thursday: 1:30pm–3:30pm
Tasks Include:
Support young people aged 11–16 in developing their creative skills in a relaxed and supportive environment. Sessions are led by Ragtag staff.

Wednesday: 3:30pm–6:30pm
Tasks Include:
Support children aged 6–11 during our weekly art club in a fun and encouraging environment. Sessions are led by Ragtag staff.

Thursday: 3:30pm–5:30pm

Provide additional support to volunteers with additional needs, helping ensure everyone feels confident and included.

Work alongside our ceramic tutor to support the running of the ceramic studio at Mealbank. (no experience needed)

Support our team at events and festivals across Cumbria, helping deliver creative activities for families. From craft workshops, giant cardboard constructions, and crazy junk golf.

The Remake project empowers volunteers with additional needs to play a vital role in our daily operations. From running the scrapstore, assisting with admin, crafting, upcycling wood and more, they bring invaluable skills and enthusiasm to every task. We aim to help individuals to:
