Yard Art: Youth Mural Project

The Yard ArtYouth Project is for young people aged 11-15. We will be working together to co-design a brand new mural for Kendal Town Centre.

The Project includes a 5 week series of workshops on Thursday afternoons from 4-6pm in our Create Warehouse at Ragtag. Culminating in a 3 day final mural painting extravaganza during May Half-Term (28-30th May, 11am-3pm)

Transport to and from outside (or near too) Kirkbie Kendal School and Queen Katherine School will be provided.

During the project young people will learn more about mural art and design techniques, create their own individual pieces of work to take home as well as collaborating with professional artists to co-create a brilliant new mural in Kendal town centre that will be enjoyed by the local community for years to come.

We are excited to be working in partnership with Kendal Vision and Kendal Town Council on this Project.

This Project is FREE to all young people aged 11-15 however there are only 15 places available. To register a parent/carer must complete the consent form below. priority will be given to young people who wish to attend the ENTIRE PROJECT (this means the after school workshops as well as the 3 day half term painting days)
