Family Fun Day, Kendal

To celebrate Big Green Week, Ragtag Arts are hosting a “pay what you can” family fun day in Kendal on Saturday 8th of June from 10am-4pm.

We are also offering a FREE MINIBUS service from Kendal booking is essential – Click to book!

Come along and be the first to try out our BRAND NEW Loose Parts Playground where children can explore open ended materials with freedom, creativity and imagination. Great for encouraging problem solving whilst having tonnes of fun!
We are also offering a very special series of Crafty Cruft’s activities which you can drop in to anytime between 10-4
– create your own super cute wooden dog on a lead in our wood workshop. Then sew a rosette or badge with our stitching workshop!
And at 3pm… the big event! The Reuse Dog Show, where children have the chance to parade their creations. There will be different categories for children to enter which you can sign your name up to attend throughout the day.
We also have a fab activity trail walk for families to enjoy!
All of the above is included in your ticket price – £10 suggested donation per child but please just pay what you can.
We do have some other optional extra activities available on the day too!
– Splat Bike (£1) make splatty colourful artwork
– Ceramic throwing tasters with Sweetpea Ceramics £25
– Our Crafty Cafe will be open serving drinks, cakes and paninis throughout the day

More mini bus details

The free mini bus service to & from the Kendal Sports Centre and Sandylands Post Office. 

Booking is essential and if spaces fill up we will put on more pick ups/drop offs – click HERE to book your bus ticket.

11am pick up Kendal Leisure Centre – 11.10am pick up Sandylands Post Office – 11.20am drop off Ragtag Arts

3.30pm Pick up Ragtag Arts – 3.40pm drop off Sandylands Post Office – 3.50pm drop off Kendal Leisure Centre
