Clare is all about creativity, community and sustainability. She studied Art & Design at the University of Leeds and since then she’s had quite the adventure. From photography, designing, making clothes for a small vintage company to travelling the world (and collecting way too many fabrics for her rucksack), Clare’s always been driven by her passion for creativity.
Her journey also took her to the Peak District, where she led outdoor activities for school groups, then to the beautiful and remote Ennerdale Valley in the Lake District, where she managed a tiny hostel. These experiences have shaped Clare’s unique approach to life and work and ultimately, led her to Ragtag Arts.
As Deputy Manager, Clare runs fun and inspiring workshops for both adults and kids, manages the coffeeshop, and looks after the scrapstore—an awesome initiative that encourages sustainable creativity. She loves working with organizations that focus on improving community wellbeing, especially ones that combine creativity and the environment.
