Using our special kit of cardboard screws, card saws, and screwdrivers, children will be able to independently construct large-scale models from cardboard—whether it’s dens, buildings, or even vehicles!
The theme can be guided by your classroom topics, making the project flexible and curriculum-linked.
Along the way, students will:
Experiment with simple mechanisms such as levers and hinges.
Apply techniques to make their structures stronger, stiffer, and more stable.
Generate, develop, and model ideas through hands-on making and creative problem solving.
Communicate their designs using discussion, annotated sketches, cross-sections, and exploded diagrams.
This project builds confidence, independence, and teamwork while giving children the tools to think and build like engineers and designers.
