As a combined arts centre we are open to the public four days a week offering creative workshops, a crafty café, a play space, ceramics facilities and studio spaces for the community. We also provide a wide range of meaningful volunteering opportunities for adults and young people with disabilities, learning difficulties or mental health needs.
We take our message of Reuse, Create and Play into the wider community — running workshops at events and festivals throughout the year. We engage with people from all backgrounds and collaborate with organisations across the county to reach and inspire even more individuals. Our creative outreach includes the Ragtag Roadshow, building large puppets, creating site decorations and delivering bespoke commissions — bringing colour, imagination and sustainability to public spaces and celebrations.
Loose Parts has become a big part of what we do at Ragtag. It inspires people of all ages to play, build and explore freely. We support this with resources, training and facilitated play sessions that encourage creativity, problem-solving and joyful experimentation.
We aim to reduce waste, promote environmental responsibility and provide affordable creative resources.
We deliver high quality arts activities and experiences that are accessible to all: inspiring minds, delighting imaginations and nurturing creativity
We value the artist within each of us, using play as a vehicle for creativity. To provide fun, meaningful and life enriching opportunities for all improving health and wellbeing
We are a small not for profit organisation and appreciate your support in any way. Whether it is giving us your time, shopping with us or simple telling your friends about what we offer, it all makes a difference
