Get ready for a wild and wonderful design challenge! In this hands-on project, children will create their own bespoke crazy golf holes, using recycled materials, cardboard, and creative thinking to transform our 9-hole mini golf bases into a completely original course.

Each child or team will begin by designing their own hole, thinking about how to include ramps, tunnels, obstacles, and moving parts. They’ll explore simple mechanisms such as levers and pulleys to bring their designs to life – applying their understanding of how to make structures stronger, stiffer and more stable. Projects can be adapted to suit your class needs and curriculum focus.

once the designs are built using junk modelling materials, card and craft resources, we’ll bring the full course together – and finally, everyone will have a go at playing the wildest mini-golf course ever!

This fun and collaborative project gives children a chance to be designers, engineers and players all in one, developing problem-solving, teamwork and making skills in a playful, imaginative way.
