In our painting and drawing workshop, children will jump right in at their easels to explore their creativity through a bunch of exciting and playful activities. We kick things off with fun drawing games that help everyone loosen up and get those creative juices flowing. 

Next, we dive into the fascinating world of Cubism by checking out some still life artworks by Pablo Picasso and other cubist artists. We set up a modern still life installation right in the hall (or classroom)! Kids get to move around, work on the floor and at easels, look at the scene from all sorts of angles, and create their own unique cubist-inspired masterpieces on paper. Along the way, they’ll experiment with colour, patterns, textures, shapes, and lines – learning tons of new art skills. Finally, they’ll bring their drawings to life. with paint and pastels, discovering how different materials can make their artwork pop.
