Mask Making
Taking inspiration from artist Andrew Kim, we’ll be creating our very own fantasy masks in this imaginative and hands-on workshop.
First, we’ll sculpt a clay mask, carefully adding unique details and textures to bring your character to life. Next, we’ll layer papier-mâché over the clay form and set it aside to dry. Once it’s ready, we’ll decorate the mask, giving it your own creative flair! Finally, we’ll gently lift the papier-mâché from the clay base, revealing a striking fantasy mask to take home.
Throughout the day, we’ll take regular breaks to visit our loose parts area, where we can burn off some energy while building ball runs, dens, and much more. We’ll also head out for a short walk in the beautiful countryside around us, so please make sure to bring a coat and appropriate footwear.
We’ll also find time to enjoy a few team games, tasty snacks, and a delicious lunch.
