AENW ‘Resources Exchange’

CALLING ALL TEACHERS!!

Join us for our second AENW face to face event this year. Ragtag Arts & Community Scrapstore will be hosting a fun, family friendly morning at their base in Mealbank near Kendal.

This event is designed to encourage sustainable use of materials within schools, by diverting them from landfill and exchanging or recycling unwanted resources. Bring your surplus resources and materials to exchange with others. You will have a space to put your items for exchange and receive a basket to collect the new items you would like to take away and use.

Also on the day, you will be able to: 

• Find out about other arts opportunities for schools
• Have a tour of the Scrapstore
• See a ‘loose parts play’ demo (& find out how to hire a LPP cart)
• Find out about your local Repair Cafe
• Receive a Ragtag Arts goody bag
• Particiapte in a children’s craft activity (all children must be supervised)
• Shop in the Scrapstore

The Scrapstore café will also be open with a range of cakes and hot drinks available to buy.
