Our volunteers are a huge part of what we do. We are passionate about providing opportunities for everyone, enabling people to learn new skills and to be part of a vibrant team. 


We are always looking for new volunteers to join our team, we welcome people of all ages and levels of experience including 

those wih disabilities.


There is a wide range of opportunities

for people to get involved in, including volunteering at the scrapstore, mentoring and support roles and helping with workshops and events.

ReMake Team

The ReMake team is made up of an amazing group of vollunteers with disabilities and learning difficulties.

We meet on Tuesdays 1-3pm and Thursdays 11am-1pm.

Together we will be designing, making, marketing and selling upcycled creative craft kits out of our amazing scrap.

Mentoring & Support

We are looking for volunteers who would like to help support members of our ReMake team (see above). As a mentor you would join our ReMake team on a Tuesday or a Thursday and support them in a variety of activities as they design, make, market and sell their products.

You would need to commit to a regular 3 hours a week. either on a Tuesday 12noon-3pm or Thursday 10am-1pm

There will also be opportunities to help with occasional craft fairs and events.


Festivals & Events

Volunteering at festivals and events is a great way to gain expereince and can be a lot of fun too. We have a new range of festival productions that we will be taking out this year so if you think you would like to get involved then please get in touch.

As a volunteer you will help develop new projects, prepare and set up for events and gain hands on experience in delivering creative workshops and festival productions. 

Fridays 10-4 and Occasional Weekends.

Community Scrapstore

The Community Scrapstore is open 4 days a week.

Tuesdays 10-4, Thursdays 10-6, Fridays 10-4, and Saturdays 10-4.

We are always looking for volunteers who would like to join our team and help us run this amazing project diverting waste from landfill and providing affordible resources to the community. As a volunteer you would help with the day to day running of the Scrapstore including, sorting and restocking scrap and welcoming and serving costomers. There will also be opportunities to help with workshops and other events if that is something you are interested in.
