Workshops are back!
We are so excited to be delivering workshops again, but this summer they will be a bit different. . .
We are offering workshops for groups. You have to put your own group together, with a maximum of 8 people, (6 children), and a maximum of 2 bubbles / families.
Fancy getting crafty in a space you can make a mess?
We have 3 creative workshops for you to choose from. These workshops take place in our downstairs classroom, which will be for your groups sole use. We will give you a short introduction to the workshop, and then leave you to create. We will be on hand if you need any help.
Tuesday, Thursday and Fridays
10 - 11.30 or 12.30 - 2 or 2.30 - 4
Mini Marble Maze.
Do you love junk modeling? Then this is the workshop for you, using our amazing scrap create your own marble run.
Messy Paint and Play.
Are your little ones desperate to get messy, but you just don't have the space? In this workshop we will give you large rolls of paper and lots of paint. Make stamps, foot prints and have lots of fun. We will also provide you with with a mask and crown to decorate.
This year Torchlight is having a mini parade, and this is your chance to get involved. Create your own characters, and enter them to be filmed as part of the Tiny Torchlight film.
Mad Junk Mini Golf
This is your chance to build your very own crazy golf course out of Scrap, and then play it.
This workshops take place in our upstairs community classroom, of which your group has sole use. We will give you a short introduction, and then leave you to create and play. We will be on hand if you need any help.

How we will keep you safe
Due to the Corona Virus we are taking the following precautions to ensure we keep our visitors, staff and volunteers safe.
All sessions must be booked online. No walk-ins.
Payments for the session must be made online.
Introduction to the session will be delivered by workshop leader, at a 2 m distance.
All visitors will be asked to use hand sanitisers that is provided when they arrive and through out their session.
All resources for each activity will have been quarantined for 72 hours prior to the session or cleaned with disinfectant.
All surfaces will have been cleaned before groups arrive
To protect our staff and volunteers, group members will be asked to pack away the resources they are not using back into the boxes.
Groups are asked to arrive on time and leave promptly at the end of session to ensure groups don't mix and adequate time is available to clean.
Any workshop instructions are laminated, examples fixed to the wall out our reach to be touched.
One person must book for the whole group. The group must contain a maximum of 2 families or 2 bubbles. It is up to the group to ensure social distancing is maintained between the 2 families.
Our toilets will be cleaned between each group
Group members may accesses the Scrapstore before or after their session, but they must be aware of the restricted numbers and be prepared to wait.
Paint a Pot
Come and paint a pot in our new pottery studios.
We will give you a short introduction, and then leave you to paint. We will be on hand if you need any help. Once you have finnished we will fire your work and let you know when it will be ready to collect.
